Gary I. Glassman, CPA with
Melody Mann Fox, CPA and
Jeffrey W. Bliss, CPA leads the veterinary practice management team at Burzenski & Company, PC. Our veterinary practice team includes several certified public accountants, a certified veterinary practice manager, senior and staff accountants as well as tax specialists, bookkeepers and certified financial planners. We understand the needs of veterinary practitioners and provide them with the insight to maximize their financial position and operate efficiently.
Gary I. Glassman, CPA, has been a partner at Burzenski & Company, PC since 1988. With a focus on veterinary practice management, he specializes in financial management and tax planning for veterinary practices and their owners. Additionally, he has extensive experience in the areas of practice valuation, related practice sale, merger and acquisition activity, structuring buy/sell agreements as well as hospital expansion and financing.
Melody Mann Fox, CPA is a partner at Burzenski & Company. An employee since 1984, she has expertise in veterinary medicine financial management and tax planning and she is a member of the QuickBooks® Certified ProAdvisors Program. She serves as the firm’s director of client services with the responsibility for providing guidance and leadership to clients related to accounting, computer technology and workflow management. Additionally, she offers training and supervision to the firm’s new employees and internal staff.
Jeffrey W. Bliss, CPA was named a Partner at Burzenski & Company in July 2022. He is currently the Director of Veterinary Services at Burzenski & Company. He joined Burzenski & Company in 2005 as a Staff Accountant. Over the years, he moved up the ranks to Senior Staff Accountant, Supervisor Accounting Specialist, Manager in 2016, and was named Director in 2017. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Quinnipiac University.
Jeff is the Treasurer of the Wallingford Land Trust, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of CPAs.
Monica Dixon Perry, CVPM is the Director of Veterinary Consulting Services. Monica has been involved in the field of veterinary medicine for more than 35 years. She joined Mission Veterinary Partners at the beginning of the global COVID-19 pandemic as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and later held the position of Director of Practice Management.
Prior to that, Monica was a consultant/partner with VMC, Inc. for 15 years, where she presented a seminar called Principles of Veterinary Practice Management throughout the United States and Canada.
Andreas P. Pahl, MPA, CAS, MBA, SPHR, CVPM, SHRM-SCP is a Veterinary Management Consultant at Burzenski & Company. His passion for excellence in client care and operational efficiency has inspired him to share his hard-learned lessons with others in the veterinary community. He is an active member of the VHMA frequently serving on boards and committees to contribute to advancing the profession of veterinary hospital management. He is also a former Management Instructor for Patterson Veterinary University’s Practice Management Series.
